Interiors UK Event.

This month we attended the fabulous Interiors UK event in Birmingham and got the inside scoop on all that is new for 2014. The top trends we saw ranged from vintage sofas, statement chairs, luxury carpets and outdoor furniture with a twist.

Bright and bold designs were a key trend throughout the whole event, with splashes of colour that are sure to add the wow factor to any home. From Aztec, floral and dotty designs there were a whole host of statement chairs, plump patterned cushions and chic sofa covers to get inspired by.

The perfect chair can bring a whole room together whilst injecting colour and  personality into your room. If you opt for a more neutral tone for your sofa then the beauty of adding a statement chair is that it will seamlessly fit with your range to spice things up a bit. If you choose redecorate simply move your chair into a different space, that’s the great thing about these chairs they will fit in with a sofa or happily stand alone, meaning it’s perfect for a bedroom or hallway

The spring/summer designs are bright, bold and incredibly stylish and are coming to us in short sharp bursts of colour such as accent pillows or throw cushions. This is a great way to add a bit of oomph into your bleak living room.

Our ranges are bang on trend for 2014 with s range of statement sofas, floral chairs and patterned cushions that are guaranteed to bring the sunshine into your home.

Then there are contemporary designs that are being shaped, nipped and tucked and given a whole new lease of life. Take tweed for example, its being revamped for the modern home yet still remains utterly timeless.

Looking ahead, bold prints may be taking a smaller form but they are certainly still in our hearts and in our homes. Adding a splash of print on your sofa or into your room is key to creating this season’s top trend…. And remember a statement chair is happy to stand alone or complement a neutral range.
