Our favourite Superheroes and princesses get ready to greet children at our Aberdeen store launch THIS SATURDAY!

Councillor George Adam, the current Lord Provost of Aberdeen, will be cutting the ribbon at the official opening of our brand new Aberdeen store on Saturday October 22nd at 10am, showing his support to our growth in the area.

To celebrate the launch, a selection of children’s much-loved film characters will be in store meeting shoppers, posing for photos and playing fun games with the children. Plus, exciting prizes will be up for grabs for all that attend.

The characters will be in store from 10.30 until 12:30. A balloon modeller will also be in store sculpting weird and wonderful creations with the aim of raising money for local children’s charity Befriend A Child.

The charity, based in Aberdeen, supports children and young people growing up in difficult life circumstances across the region and helps them to achieve their full potential and develop into confident and competent adults.

Dawn Crosby, Branch Manager of our new Aberdeen store, said: “Our brand new store will allow customers to improve their shopping experience when searching for the perfect home furnishings and we’re really proud to be investing in Aberdeen. We’ve already received a very warm welcome from the community and have had positive feedback from local shoppers.

“We are incredibly excited for our launch event and want to invite people to come down on Saturday 22nd October to take part in some fun games and activities, all whilst supporting a fantastic local charity.

“Our aim is to raise as much money as possible for Befriend A Child which supports so many children and their parents from the area through difficult times. We hope people will come on down, dig deep and show their support for this amazing cause.”

Our brand new store is located at the Kittybrewster Retail Park, Aberdeen, AB24 3LJ.
